Practice

We are open Wednesday - Sunday each week for open practice. No booking is required. During the Summer months we offer late night shooting until dusk on select Wednesday's, last entry 7.30pm. Please check our current opening hours.

The whole ground is operated on the plug and play Promatic card system. We have a delay facitlity on all sporting / sportrap /compak stands, all trap disciplines are voice activated and we have a voice control button available for skeet if you are practising alone.  

​

Our Trap, Skeet & DTL Layouts are all wheelchair accessible. 

​

Sporting Practice isn't affected by competition fixtures and is always available but if we do have competitions on please feel free to telephone the ground on 07951951526 or check our Facebook page to make sure other disciplines are all available for practice.

Non-member, license holders are welcome and can purchase a Promatic gold card for £10 which you can then add your clay purchases to. The card is yours to keep and you do not have to use all the clays you purchase on the day, you can you use any left over clays next time you visit and top up whenever needed. Clays are priced at £9.00 per 25.

Non Shotgun License holders are welcome to practice as long as they are accompanied by a Shotgun license holder and are not a prohibited person.

We maintain the ground and traps to a very high standard and our staff are always on hand should you need anything.
